Here is the latest news on Mom:
- She is still on a ventilator.
- She wasn't tolerating her tube feedings, but they think they may have that under control now.
- Her kidneys have improved slightly even without the dialysis.
- She has pneumonia... again.
I know if she could Mom would thank you for all your prayers and would wish you a Happy Easter!

Deann, I don't know if this is something you do in your family or not, but if you do - please give your mom a kiss on the cheek from me. I don't know why (we've never met that I know of), but I feel so connected to her. Wish you were having a nice Easter at home. Sue
We give kisses all the time, Sue, so I will definitely give Mom one from you.
I know Mom really feels connected to all her "Blogger Buddies," too. I have been telling her about all the kind comments everyone has been leaving here on her blog, and she really appreciates them. Thanks so much for helping to keep her spirits up!

Hi Deann. I just checked the blog for the first time in a week and I am shocked and so worried. Please add some more kisses from all of us. Bill and me, Bill Alverson, our daughter Krista and little Isaac who loves his Mamau and Papaw very much. He misses seeing them at Burger King for breakfast, as do we. Is there anything at all we can do besides the prayers that are already being lifted up for your mom and your dad? If we knew what ICU waiting room you were in, maybe we could bring something special to eat or offer a shoulder. Please forgive me for not checking sooner. Bill is sick and is having a man surgery on Tuesday. All my love to your mom and dad. Laura
Thank you, Laura. I will certainly give Mom kisses from all of you. I'm sure it will cheer her up. I don't think there is anything we need right now, but we do appreciate the offer.
P.S. Our prayers will be with Bill on Tuesday for his surgery.
