HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS

Here are pictures of my inside and outside decorations.   I use the same ones year after year.  Some my husband and I did when we were going to craft shows other I got at yard sales or bought at the Dollar Tree,  Dollar General, and Wal-Mart.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF OCTOBER


October is the month for painted leaves....As fruits and leaves and the day itself acquire a bright tint just before they fall, so the year near its setting.  October is its sunset sky; November the later twilight.     ~ Henry David Thoreau~

October gave a party; The leaves by hundreds came - the ashes, oaks, and maples, and leaves of every name.  The sunshine spread a carpet, and every thing was grand; Miss Weather led the dancing; Professor wind, the band...the sight was like a rainbow new-fallen from the sky.  ~George Cooper~

October here's to you.  Here's to the heady aroma of the frost-kissed apples, the winey smell of ripened grapes, the wild-as-the-wind smell of hickory nuts, and the nostalgic whiff of the first wood smoke.    ~Ken Weber~
