SUNFLOWER

Sunflower that has come up in my cup
and saucer planter. I did not plant it.
A little bird must have dropped the seed.
The flower part is not that big but the stem
measured 50 inches.

This is a picture of the cup and saucer planter
that this sunflower popped up in. The planter
can be purchased at Walmart.

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

The real secret of happiness

is simply this: to be willing to

live and let live, and to know

very clearly in one's mind that

the unpardonable sin is to be

an unpleasant person.

TEA AND FRIENDSHIP TUESDAY

On this Tea and Friendship Tuesday I want to
share with all of you tea drinkers these tea time
cups I found at a yard sale last week. Now if I
were a tea drinker I would use them every time
I had tea. There is a set of four so I could invite
my friends and enjoy tea and dessert with them.

Wishing everyone a happy Tea and Friendship
Tuesday.

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

Some of us have great runways already built
for us. If you have one, take OFF. But if
you don't have one, realize it is your
responsibility to grab a shovel and build
one for yourself and for those who will
follow after you.

TEA AND FRIENDSHIP TUESDAY

A friend is like a flower, a rose to be exact, Or maybe like a brand new gate that never comes unlatched. A friend is like an owl, both beautiful and wise. Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost, whose spirit never dies. A friend is like a heart that goes strong until the end. Where would we be in this world if we didn't have a friend. - By Emma Guest

Have a great Tea and Friendship Tuesday.

INDIAN CHIEF WOOD CARVING

Yesterday was a very nice day so
my husband and I decided to go
and have a picnic at our favorite
place, Palisades Park, which is
located in Oneonta, Alabama. It
was a day not to hot just right for
a picnic. After eating our meal of
fried chicken, slices of home grown
tomatoes, and pork and beans we
walked around the park where we
spotted this Indian Chief carved by
some chainsaw artist. This time
I had my camera and was able to
get this photo. I think the person
who did this did a very good job.

BUNNY RABBIT IN RESIDENCE

Look real close and see my cute
little bunny rabbit hiding behind
the base of my gazing ball. He is
as cute as can be. His or her home
has got to be real close because I
see him or her quite often. God's
creatures can be fun to watch. I
hope the little bunny rabbit will
stay safe.

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

Give me understanding enough to
make me kind, so I may judge all
people with my heart and not my
mind.

TEA AND FRIENDSHIP TUESDAY

If you're alone, I'll be your
shadow. If you want to cry
I'll be your shoulder. If you
want a hug, I'll be your
pillow. If you need to be
happy, I'll be your smile.
But anytime you need a
friend, I'll just be me.
~Author Unknown~

Whether you prefer tea or
coffee have a great Tea and
Friendship Tuesday.

SUNBEAMS

Cheerful thoughts like
sunbeams lighten up
the darkest fears for
when the heart is happy
there's just no time for tears.

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

"Nothing in life is to be
feared, it is only to be
understood. Now is the
time to understand more,
so that we may fear less.

TEA AND FRIENDSHIP TUESDAY

I still find each day to short
for all the thoughts I want
to think, all the walks I want
to take, and the books I want
read, and all the friends I want
to see.

Wishing everyone a great Tea
and Friendship Tuesday.

JULY

"Answer July----
Where is the Bee---
Where is the Blush---
Where is the Hay?

Ah, said July---
Where is the Seed---
Where is the Bud---
Where is the May---
Answer Thee---Me---"
~Emily Dickinson
