Now that the bridal tea is over I can show the two pair of pillow cases I embroidered and the afghan I crocheted for the happy couple. They will be married in August and after a honeymoon they will be going out to Oklahoma where they will live so my grandson can attend Oklahoma State to get his master's degree. Click on picture to get a much better and larger view of the pillowcases.

Just one of the many projects I have been working on this
summer. This is mine to go with my other red, white and
blue decorations that I use in the months of May, June and
July. The other projects I have finished will be shown after
they are given to the people who will receive them.

These are just a few of my flowers. Lilies, daisies, balloon flowers, pulsane, hanging baskets of petunias. I also have many pots full of impatiences which I did not photograph. I also have hosta that is blooming, which I also did not photograph. When one lives alone one has much time to work in the yard. Click on photos to enlarge.

My dad has been gone a good many years and this is the first father's day without my husband being with us. I know they are both in a better place. They were good and loving fathers. My husband loved his children and tried to teach them the values of life. He may have been a little bit strict at times but he did it in love. Happy Father's Day dad and Karl.
Wishing my son, Kenneth, sons-in-law Bob, Brian and Alex, grandson, Eric, and all my friends who are dads a very happy Father's Day.

These are the fingerless mittens I was lucky enough to win. They will come
in handy when winter gets here again. Thank you Evy for putting my name
in the pot and for that sweet girl who drew my name.
This is the sweet girl who is modeling the mittens and holding the piece of
paper that has my name on it. This is the first time I have won a gift on here.
Evy did a great job . Wish I could knit as well as she does.
