ANGELS

We are, each of us, angels with only one
wing; and we can only fly by embracing
one another.

4TH OF JULY DECORATIONS

This is the little house my husband built for
me to keep my garden tools in. It is perfect
for my decorations, at this time it is decorated
for the 4th of July.

My Uncle Sam wind sock is an
eye catcher.

I have flags flying all over the yard, this one is mounted on
the fence.

Front door entrance with the Uncle Sam I painted
years ago.

Another picture of flag on fence taken at night which shows
my lighted red, white and blue stake out lights.

Projected picture on the front side of the house wishing
everyone a happy 4th of July. When my husband and I used to be in the craft business
he would cut and make the picket fence for me to
decorate. I did the painting he did the wood work. I not
only have this one for the 4th, but ones for Halloween
Thanksgiving, and Easter.

ROSE OF SHARON BUSH

Here is a couple of pictures of one of my rose of sharon bushes.
When I purchased 3 bushes I thought I was getting different
colors but it turned out they where all the same.

BALLOON FLOWERS

This is what the first bud of the balloon flower looks like.
It then turns a blue color. I think the bud resembles a
hot air balloon, no doubt the reason for the name balloon
flower. I have many of these plants in my flower garden
in front of the house and also around what used to be a fish
pond, but now is a rock garden. The picture below is what
the flower looks like when in full bloom. When they come
to seed I take and scatter the seed around and get more
plants that come up in the spring.

SUNFLOWER

This one lone sunflower came up from a seed dropped by
a bird that visits my birdfeeders. It came up next to a
small flower bed where I have daisies planted.

FLOWERS

Just one of my butterfly bushes. This bloom was, and I
am not kidding, 12 inches long.
Same bush as above but the bloom was not quite as large.

My yucca bush, which I have had a number
years, bloomed for the first time this year.
The bloom was so tall and so full of blooms
it fell over and pulled the plant up by the
roots. My husband tied it up to a bush and
I am hoping it will take root again and live
to bloom again.

FLAG DAY JUNE 14

You're a grand old flag, you're a high flying flag and
forever in peace may you wave. You're the emblem
of the land I love. The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true 'neath the Red, White, and Blue,
where there's never a boast or brag. Should auld
acquaintance be forgot, keep your eye on the Grand
Old Flag.

LILIES

Here are a few pictures of my day lilies. The red one above
is my favorite. As you can see I have several different
colors, all are very pretty. I have them planted in different
places all over the yard.

SUMMER FUN IN THE POOL

My grandson Adam enjoying the pool. He took time out
so I could get this snapshot of him.
My grandson Joseph also enjoying the pool. He too stopped
swimming long enough for me to get this snapshot of him.

It is not officially summer time yet, but with the temperature
in the 90's my two grandsons came over today to cool off
in the pool. Adam is in the foregound and Joseph is in the
background. My daughter, who would not allow me to take
her picture, because she was sun bathing enjoyed cooling off
also.
