INDIAN CHIEF WOOD CARVING

Yesterday was a very nice day so
my husband and I decided to go
and have a picnic at our favorite
place, Palisades Park, which is
located in Oneonta, Alabama. It
was a day not to hot just right for
a picnic. After eating our meal of
fried chicken, slices of home grown
tomatoes, and pork and beans we
walked around the park where we
spotted this Indian Chief carved by
some chainsaw artist. This time
I had my camera and was able to
get this photo. I think the person
who did this did a very good job.

It was a lovely day for a picnic... glad you had a good time.

You know, I think Dad could carve an Indian just as good as that one. Maybe he should give it a try!

Real good job..
There's a house not too far from us that the guy carved the top of the 5 foot stump into a mans face with beard and they put clothes on the rest of it and change them out with the season... during baseball season they usually dress him in Cardinal shirt and red pants.
It makes you chuckle when you drive by it. I'd take a pic but its a corner house on a busy road.
