PILLOWCASES - HAND EMBROIDERED

This is what I have been doing during the cold
weather we had for a couple of weeks. My
daughter, Deann, gave these pillowcases to me
as part of my Christmas gift. I was taught to
embroider as a very young girl and I still enjoy
enjoy doing it. I have another pair I am working
on now that my daughter, Debra, gave me. When
I am finished with them will post pictures. Click

Madeline, Your pillowcases are absolutely beautiful! I love the colors you chose too. I wish I could do something like that but I have no talent. They are soo pretty.

Thank you all for your very nice comments. These pillowcases come already stamped with directions and what colors to use. So if one knows what a french knot, daisy, and outline stitch is they are easy to do.

Madeline - I chuckled at your reply. Yes, I *know how*. But, getting the finished product to look like yours? Never. sigh ((grins))

These are beautiful, and I am glad to see it is not a lost art.
I have some pretty embroidered pillow cases made by my stepmom, and I treasure them.
