LONELY LITTLE SUNFLOWER

This morning when I went out to fill my bird feeders I
happened to look down and there under one of the bird feeders
was this tiny little sunflower amongst the fallen leaves. It
must of come up from one of the seeds a bird dropped. I don't
think it will survive for very long with the cold weather but for
now it is a ray of sunshine.

Poor little flower...maybe you should pick it and put it in a tiny vase before the frost kills it tonight.

How sweet! Did you bring it inside?

No I did not bring it inside last night but I checked this morning and it is still hail and hearty.

A sign of life when the world is going dormant..., how beautiful.
