CORN BREAD

My husband, who likes to cook, has a small 6 inch cast iron
pan which is just the right size to make corn bread for the
two of us. I have to admit he is a much better cook then I
am, and after cooking meals for the family for as long as I
did, I let him cook when ever he wants, which is almost
always.

Done to perfection and out of the pan, and boy was it ever
good. The whole meal was: baked chicken breast, sweet
potatoes sliced with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on them
and green beans. For dessert we had chocolate pudding.

I don't really care for cornbread or sweet potatoes, but your meal still sounds tasty, and I'm sure both of you enjoyed it thoroughly.

Since Dad like to cook so much, maybe you can let him handle all of the Thanksgiving meal this year to give you a break. Do you think he could manage all that?!

I enjoy cooking when I'm not under pressure. I'll just stick with "destroying" the turkey while carving it. You and Debbie can pick the little pieces for a taste test.
See you Thursday sweety. Dad

I have one of those small skillets too and always bake my cornbread in it.. I also use it to make baked beans on the grill.
