SPRING TIME IN ALABAMA

I  just had to show off some of the lovely what we call red bud trees that are blooming in my back yard.  I do not know why they call them red bud trees because the flower is more of a dark pink color.  We also have our dogwood trees blooming and I have some azaleas starting to bloom and when they are in full bloom I will post some pictures of them.  Also the wild iris are blooming.

Oh, how pretty these photos are. Wish I could walk with you thru these pretty trees..then we could go back to your house and you can show me all your pretty pillowcases and all the other pretty things you have made. Then, of course, you will have a big plate of your famous gingerbread cookies all ready for us....and tea !!
Haha...I love "play-like".......xoxo, bj

What a picture of Springtime in your neck of the woods Madeline!
Doesn't it lift your spirits when you see the first blossoms on the flowering trees.
The memories of cold and snow fad very quickly!
