WELCOME THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER

"November comes and November goes, with the last red berries and the first white snow.  With night coming early, and dawn coming late, and ice in the bucket and frost by the gate.  The fires burn and the kettles sing, and earth sinks to rest until next spring."   ~Elizabeth Coatsworth~

Wish every one a blessed month of  November.

Dear sweet Maddy,
Thanks so much for your kind words ...I have felt a connection with you, too....right from the start.
I think your husband was ill when we first met and then, when he passed on, my heart ached for you and your family. I sure would love to meet you someday but I am pretty sure I can't. So, I am content to have you as a best friend thru blogging. I am thankful that we met here.

Your header is so pretty....I need to work on a Thanksgiving one for my blog. My heart isn't into my blog right now. I think I am just tired from all the moving. At my age, it just takes awhile to get over things that used to not bother me in the least. Of course, it's been 40 years since we moved so guess it HAD to be a huge job...and it was. WHEW...
love, bj

November is very nice here in West Texas...today was in the high 60's...maybe even 70's....very nice.
I've started a tiny bit of Christmas shopping...mostly gift cards to the teens in the family. They are hard to buy for so if we give them a little money, they can find something they like.
Hoping to make quilts for some of them next year for Christmas. I love doing the quilt tops...hate quilting, tho. Must find someone to do that.....
