DAUGHTERS AND SONS

A daughter is the happy memories of the
past, the joyful moments of the present,
and the hope and promise of the future.

Your son at five is your master, at ten your
slave, at fifteen your double, and after that,
your friend or your foe, depending on his
bringing up.

I am very proud of my four children Debra,
Kenneth, Deann and Kara. They all are married
and have been blessed with wonderful families.
I pray every night that God will continue to
bless them and keep them safe. I want them
to know that I may have made mistakes while
bringing them up but in spite of that they all
have made me proud of them and what they
have accomplished.

We all made mistakes, Madeline. We all wish that we could do some things over again. But, children are very forgiving and resilient.
Children don't come with "instructions". Our kids understand this even more when they have children of their own.
Nice quotes...

Oh, my....there's not a one of us walking the earth that hasn't made mistakes, Maddy.
And what a sweet comment for Deann to make. She is precious.

Yep...we did have us a good ole time back in the 50's....and thought they would never, ever end. :))
I sure love having all the good memories.
Now, I'm hungry for meatloaf. hahhaa

Madeline, this was beautiful. Made me cry. Yes, we have all made mistakes. Thank God, our children love us anyway.

good morning, dear friend,
Thanks for coming by to have some fried green tomatoes with me. :)
There's sure a lot of Whistle Stop Cafes...I've had several people tell me there's one close to them.
I hope you have a good day....I have to clean house and that sure is no fun. :))
hugs, bj

What a lovely tribute to your family Madeline! God knows we have all made mistakes from time to time I know I have. It's to bad we didn't have a recipe book for raising children. Most of us our ages got married when we were still children ourselves.
Thank you for visiting me.
You and your family are in my prayers.
Love, Carol
