~Helen Hunt Jackson~
"September days have the warmth of summer in their brief hours, but in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn. The cricket chirps in the noontide, making the most of what remains of his brief life. The bumblebee is busy among the clover blossoms of the aftermath, and their shrill and dreamy now hold the outdoor world above the voices of the song birds, now silent or departed."
~Rowland E. Robinson~
"September fattens on wines . Roses flake from the wall. The smoke of harmless fires drifts to my eyes. This is plenty. This is more than enough"
~Geoffrey Holt~

Hello, Maddy...here it is...another Sept. 1st morning.
Your Welcome September is great.
Thank you bj.
Happy September. And what a great quotes!!!
Thank you Aritha.
Thanks for coming by...
I am trying hard to hang onto summertime...fall is good and I used to love winter..but now that I am older and on a lot of blood thinners, I stay cold most of the winter.
I am going to make a quilt soon and maybe another during the cold months. I am blessed to have our son close in case I need to go somewhere and there's icy roads...
Take care, dear friend.
Goodness, I was certain I had already left a comment here...!
