PILLOWCASES

These are the last pair of pillowcases I was given at Christmas.  I learned to embroider at a very early age, my mother taught me.  I have enjoyed doing this for many years .  It gives me a lot of pleasure  to give these to my relatives and friends.

Beautiful pillowcases, Madeline! The pattern on them is so pretty. When I was a young girl, my grandma taught me embroidery stitches and I embroidered several pillowcases. My grandma crocheted the edges of them for me. She started teaching me to crochet, but somehow I never managed to learn it. I wish I would have. I still have some of those pillowcases. I saved them and never used them because they were so pretty.

They make a grand gift.
