WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBR

"By all these lovely tokens September days are here, with summer's best of  weathers and autumn's best of cheer."      ~Helen Hunt Jackson

"When the goldenrod is yellow and leaves are turning brown - reluctantly the summer goes in a  cloud of thistledown.    When squirrels  are harvesting and birds in flight appear- by these autumn signs we know September days are here."    ~Beverly Ashour~

"Try to remember the kind of September when life was slow and oh so mellow.
Try to remember the kind o September when grass was green and grain so yellow.
Try to remember the kind of September  when you were a young and a callow fellow.
Try to remember and if you remember then follow-follow, oh-oh."
~lyrics by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt~

Have a blessed and wonderful month of September.

Thank you, dear Madeline, for this beautiful welcome to September.
Nothing is happier than a bright, sunny autumn day and few moments are as suitable for contemplating life as the quiet and gentle autumn days.
Wishing you a blessed and happy September.
Un abbraccio,
Sara

Wishing you a happy September too sweet Madeline.
I love that song and the words, it's playing in my head now!
As you are preparing to hunker down in Autumn, over here in my far flung corner of our world,
We are are waiting patiently for the warmer days of Spring after a brutal winter.
I'm hearing more bird song so that's encouraging!
I've spent a little time in the garden but the earth is too wet and cold to do much yet.
I'm dreaming of sowing Sweet Peas and other annuals and perennials in days to come.
There are lots of fragrant Spring flowers in the shops now, Freesias and Hyacinths with their sweet perfumes and Paper Whites and Daffodils!
Love and hugs to you dear Madeline
God Bless

Dear Madeline
Thank you for your comments on the baby's top!
It is so precious that I think I will have it framed for my bedroom wall - what do you think?
I hope you are enjoying your Autumn days and spending the time sitting outside in the sunshine while you can.
Love
