To day is Armed Forces Day. Let's remember the men and women who have served in time of war or peace. God bless them all. God bless America.
In my family many served:
my dad was a WW1 veteran, his brother was a WW11 veteran, my husband was a Korean veteran, my brother was in the navy and I had many cousins who also served and were all in the navy. Most of them are no longer with us but I am so proud that they saw their duty to serve their country and they did it without question. They all came home safe and lived a full and happy life. My brother and one cousin are still with us the others have gone on to a better place. God bless them all.

Madeline,
Thank you for this excellent post.
Your header picture is beautiful.
Beautiful post, dear Madeline!
We owe much to previous generations, also in my country.
Blessings and hugs!
Madeline, if someone doesn't hit me over the head..all the days like Armed Forces Day just goes over my head. I didn't used to be like that and it's good that folks like you are up on things. I need to get a grip and start paying more attention.
Hugs,
Mona
