CITIZENSHIP DAY

Today is citizenship day.   All of us who are citizens of this wonderful country should be thankful for the freedoms we have and thankful for the men and women in the armed forces who put their lives on the line for us every day.  I ask each and everyone of you to pray that this country stays strong like our founding fathers wanted.  God Bless America.

This day also would have been my husbands birthday.  He would be 80.  It seems just like yesterday I had him with me.  I have lots of good memories of our time together and I know I will see him again.  I know he is now longer suffering and is in a better place.

I wish I could post pictures but I still have not found out why I have trouble posting pictures.  I guess I will just have to post without pictures.

Wonderful post, Madeline, even without the photos. Losing a loved one doesn't get easier with time.

Hello Maddy dear
I enjoyed reading your post about Citizenship Day..
A very special day for you remembering your dear husband.

I'm sure one of your grandchildren would be able to help with your photo issue - they know everything about computers!
