Shifting away from June's bud to leave dandelions scattered in the yard this dawn of July marks the end of a lie a lie from the past season for a strong reason. In July robin will make herself shy and cover her reddish breast with her celestial bird crest then flap her wings to fly close against the sky. I want to kiss July and make July lasting forever in beauty but not ephemeral. I will preserve July on my canvas and with magic brush so that she will be enthralled and blush. I will paint July with charming colour so that she will be captured in delight and her soul enraptured because my heart is in July.

Beautiful post, dear Madeline. Happy July to you.
What a charming and happy visit to this red, white and blue blog of Madeline's. It's so pretty and bright.
Love the sayings... but I'm not as enamored of July as most. It's just too hot and I'm stuck in the air conditioned house. But this too shall pass.
Your patriotic red, white and blue header is great. I enjoyed reading the poetic views of July. I was just noticing how toned down our yard robins were looking today. I wasn't hoeing weeds but pulling and chopping them, while being mosquito bitten on my legs that were in the shade behind the rose bushes and sunburned on my arms which were in the sun. Ahh July! Ahh Summer!
