THANKSGIVING PREPARATIONS

Thanksgiving is almost
here. All the items on
my grocery list have been
purchased. I will be baking
pies on Wednesday. The
turkey will go into the oven
Thursday morning and all
the other goodies will be
prepared. I will have some
where in the neighborhood of 15
to 17 family member here on
Thanksgiving day and I am
very grateful to the good lord
for allowing me to be able to
have another Thanksgiving with
my family.

You are prepared and ready. How nice that you enjoy having everyone there. So many people look at it as a chore.
I miss being close to my family. We don't get to have the big dinners anymore but I will travel down to them on Thanksgiving. I just wish I could have them all here.

Wow, you are ambitious! And, I am so glad you feel well enough and are able to prepare dinner. Enjoy your day.

We bought most of the food and took it to our daughter's yesterday. I was planning on going back on Wednesday to help prepare dinner. Now, though, it is storming and an Arctic blast is expected. We might not get to go. If we can't go, we'll go to our friend's house. Daughter is having friends over or they can all go to another friend's house. Just not the same as family, tho.
