AUTUMN

"Winter is an etching, spring a
watercolor, summer an oil
painting and autumn a mosaic
of them all"
~Stanley Horowitz~

An Autumn Day

Pumpkins in the cornfields, gold
among the brown, leaves of rust
and scarlet trembling slowly down;
birds that travel southward, lovely
time to play; nothing is as pleasant
as an autumn day!
~Carmen Lagos Signes~

I can't wait for the weather to cool off a little more and for the leaves to change colors... I just love Autumn!

Here in the foothills of California the change isn't so dramatic, but it has happen. Fall is here..., more in the temperature than anything else. I turned the heater on for the first time this morning. I LOVE IT!

Lovely post! Have a good week.
