This thistle plant magically appeared, with gods help, nextto my totem pole (which I use to hold one of my birdfeeders.)
I learned that the thistle plant is the national flower of
Scotland. Below are pictures of the vistors a bumble bee
and a small butterfly. It seems that wild plants do better
for me than plants I buy at nurseries.
