This is Ethan swimming down in the deep part
of the pool. He is taking swimming lessons and
is not afraid of the water at all. He jumped off
the diving board a good many times. We made
him wear his arm floats.

We had a very nice visit and before they left

to go home daughter, Debra, took this picture

of my husband, myself, and the two sweet

great grandchildren Abigail and Ethan. They

have a new brother, Aaron, who did not come so we will

have to wait until Christmas to meet him. He

stayed home in Texas with his mom and dad.

ENJOYING THE POOL

My daughter, Deann, and her youngest came

over today to enjoy the pool. They try to come

over a least twice a week. The photo is of

Joseph. His older brother did not come because

he volunteers at the Gardendale library but

does come when he is not volunteering at the library

or the zoo. Joseph also volunteers at the

library. I too have been getting some swimming

in. With the hot weather we have been having

it is very refreshing to just float around after I

do a few laps. I love watching the clouds float by

up in the sky, listening to the birds, watching

dragonflies and other creatures and just being in

the outdoors makes me closer to God.

SWIMMING POOL IS OPEN AND READY FOR USE

My husband with a little help from me have got
the pool uncovered and it is ready for the grandkids
to have some summer fun. The water is still a
little cool, but nevertheless I was able to get in to
do a few laps yesterday. I try and swim everyday
when the weather cooperates. Looking forward to
a summer full of fun with the grandkids.
