SHRINE OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT

We took another drive after running some
errands today. We decided to go once again
to visit the Shrine of the most Blessed Sacrament
located in Hanceville, Alabama, the home of
our Lady of Angels Monastery. Mother Angelica
is the nun responsible for this beautiful Shrine.
There are 32 nuns in our Lady of the Angels
Monastery ranging in age from 20 to 70 years of
age. There are also 6 brothers who help Mother
Angelica with the manual labor, landscaping, building
and lawn work.

Gate way to the Shrine.

The Shrine.

Got this picture of the Shrine off the Internet.

Doors to the Shrine.

Sign tell us no photos allowed in the Shrine.

I got this picture off the Internet because we
are not allowed to photograph the inside. It
really does not do it justice, you have to see it
in person. It is really beautiful.

The workmanship is so beautiful. Like I said
it really has to been seen in person.

Sign on the statue outside the Shrine of the
boy Jesus.

This is the gift shop. The structure looks like
an old medieval building

Close up view of the gift shop.

Manager scene in its own little structure. One
can go in and light candles and just sit and admire
the workmanship of this very beautiful Manager
scene. If you would like more information on the
Shrine or Mother Angelica just google: Shrine of the
most Blessed Sacrament.

You've misspelled Manger. It's as I've spelled it and not Manager.
Kind of changes the meaning a lot. :o)
