FALL IS IN THE AIR

I love this time of year. Not to hot or cold. No need for heat or central air. The dogwood trees are putting on their colors and red berries. My Japanese maple is starting to get a little color. My daily walks are very enjoyable. Fall is definitely in the air and I am loving it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANT AND DRAKE

Two of my grandsons are having a birthday today. Grant who is 23, attending college and doing very well. Drake is l0, smart as can be but a little shy. Hope they have a blessed and wonderful day. Love you both.

FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN

ACORNS ACORNS AND MORE ACORNS

It is that time of the year again. The acorns are falling and as you can see by the picture some are pretty big. One takes their life in their hands when going outside. I believe I need a hard hat to protect myself. It sounds like gun shots when they hit the roof.

HAPPY GRANDPARENTS DAY

I am very fortunate to have eleven wonderful and caring grandchildren and three great grandchildren. They are all uniquely different and they are all smart. I love each and everyone of them equally. The oldest is 33, has a family of his own, a wonderful wife and 3 children. The youngest is only 6 and quite a little bundle of energy. Being a grandmother (mamaw as they call me) is truly a blessing in life.

ALL DECKED OUT FOR FALL

I have been busy decorating again. This time for fall. Most of you know how much I love to decorate by house and yard. I will continue to do as long as I am able. Below are some of the picutres of my handywork.

APPLES TO MAKE APPLE SAUCE

Yesterday when my daughter, Deann, came over we picked the apples from my one apple tree. Her family likes homemade apple sauce. She had to shake the tree to get the ones at the top of the tree. In all we got a grocery bag full, enough to make a lot of apple sauce.

The fourth of July is a day that we celebrate the independence of our country, The United State of America.
