These are all of my October Halloween decorations inside and outside. Some are crafts that my husband and I did years ago. Some are finds at yard sales and others bought at the Dollar Tree.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
"October's the month when the smallest breeze gives us a shower of autumn leaves. Bonfires and pumpkins. leaves sailing down - October is red and golden and brow."
~Can teach songs~"Bittersweet October, the mellow, messy leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter."
~Carol Bishop Hipps~
~October's poplars are flaming torches lighting the way to winter."
~Nova Bair~
"There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, one produces so pleasant an effect on the feelings, as now in October."

THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER
"By all these lovely tokens September days are here, with summer's best weather and autumn's best of cheer."
~Helen Hunt Jackson~

~Beverly Ashour~
" I can hear September's leaf following me down the asphalt surface of Locust Street cartwheeling on pin when suddenly it stops - just to see if I'll turn to look."
~Author Unknown~
"Try to remember the kind of September when life was slow and oh so mellow. Try to remember the kind of September when grass was green and grain so yellow. Try to remember the kind of September when you were a young and a callow fellow. Try to remember and if you remember then follow -- follow, oh-oh."
~Lyrics by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt~
Wishing you all a wonderful month of September.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF AUGUST
"Fairest of the months! Ripe summer's queen the hey-day of the year with robes that gleam with sunny sheen sweet August doth appear."
~R. Combe Miller~
"The brilliant poppy flaunts her head amidst the ripening grain, and adds her voice to sell the song that August's here again."~Helen Winslow~
" In August, the large masses of berries, which when in flower had attracted many wild bees, gradually assumed their bright velvety crimson hue, and by their weight again bent down and broke their tender limbs."
~Henry David Thoreau~
" August rushes by like desert rainfall, a flood of frenzied upheaval, expected but still catching me unprepared like a match flame busting on the scene, heat and haze of crimson sunsets like a dream of moon and dark barely recalled. A moment, shadows caught in a blink. Like a quick kiss. One wishes for more but it suddenly turns to leave dragging summer away."
~Elizabeth Maua Taylor~

WELCOME THE MONTH OF JULY
"The summer looks out from her brazen tower, through the flashing bars of July."
~Francis Thompson~
"Summer is the tine when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world."
~Ada Louise Huxtable~
Have a safe and wonderful month of July.
