HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS

I  once again have my house inside and my yard outside decorated with Halloween pumpkins, ghost, skeletons, witches, and scarecrows.  I bought some at the Dollar Tree and the wood items my husband cut out for me and I painted them.

Those are all my outside decorations.   Now for the inside ones.

I forgot to say that some items were purchased at yard sales.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF OCTOBER

October's the month when the smallest breeze gives us a shower of autumn leaves, bonfires, and pumpkins, leaves sailing down - October is red and golden and brown.
      ~ Author Unknown~

October is crisp days and cool nights, a time to curl up around the dancing flames and sink into a good book.
     ~ John Sinas~

October is scarlet and russet and grey.  Is hymning of plenty and wine ...  How calm is the morn!  In high treble the stream is saying in rambling measure.   Like a bard all enrapt that would catch and theme.  In the mazes of fancy and pleasure!
     ~James Rigg~

A brooding calm in all the air, a dreamy quiet every where, a golden glow to light the day that fakes in purple mists away - this soothing calm, this presence bright October's sweet and mellow light.
      ~Phebe A, Holder~

October gave a party; the leaves by hundreds came - the ashes, oaks and maples, and leaves of every name, the sunshine spread a carpet, and everything was grand;  Miss weather led the dancing; Professor Wind, the band .. The sight was like a rainbow new-fallen from the sky.
      ~ George Cooper~

Have a wonderful and blessed month of October.

OUTDOORS SEPTEMBER SUNFLOWERS DECORATIONS

Most of my outside decorations I bought at Michaels, Dollar Tree and Dollar General.  The little picket fence with the crow and sunflower is a craft I painted years ago when we were in the craft business.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

"By all these lovely tokens September days are here, with summer's best of weather and autumn's best of cheer."
                 ~Helen Hunt Jackson~

"September days have the warmth of summer in their brief hours, but in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn.  The cricket chips in the noontide, making the most of what remains of his brief live.  The bumblebee is busy among the clover blossoms of the aftermath, and their shrill and dreamy hum hold the outdoor world above the voices of the song birds now silent or departed,"
          ~Rowland E. Robinson~

"When the goldenrod is yellow and leaves are turning brown - reluctantly the summer goes in a cloud of thistledown.  when squirrels are harvesting and birds in flight appear - by these autumn signs we know September days are here."
         ~Beverly Ashour~

Have a wonderful and blessed September.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF AUGUST

" Fairest of the months!  Ripe summer's  queen the hey-day of the year with robes that gleam with sunny sheer sweet august doth appear."
               ~R. Combe  Miller~

The brilliant poppy flaunts her head amidst the ripening grain, and adds her voice to see the song that August's here again."
            ~Helen Winslow~

"In august, the large masses of berries, which when in flower, had attracted many with bees, gradually assumed their bright velvety crimson here, and by their  weight again bent down and broke their tender limbs.
         ~Henry David Thoreau~

"August rushes by like desert rainfall, a flood of frenzied repheaval, expected but still catching me unprepared, like a matchflame bursting on the scene, heat and haze of crimson sunsets, like a dream of moon and dark barely recalled, a moment, shadows caught in  a blink.  Like a quick kiss; one wishes for more but it suddenly turns to leave, dragging summer away."
             ~Elizabeth Maria Taylor~

Wishing everyone a blessed and lovely August.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF JULY

"The summer looks out from her brazen tower, through the flashing bars of July."
              ~Francis Thompson~

"Oh, the summer night has a smile of light and she sits on a sapphire throne."
        ~Barry Cornwall~

"We go in withering July to ply the hard incessant hoe; panting beneath the brazen sky we sweat and grumble, but we go"
      ~Ruth Pitter~

"Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit.  A few of those days and you an become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world."
               ~Ada Louise Huxtable~

Wishing everyone a great month of July and a wonderful summer.
