I BELIEVE

"I believe in the sun even if it isn't shining. I believe in love even when I am alone. I believe in God even when he is silent." ~Aurthor Unknown~

WELCOME THE MONTH OF APRIL

"April rain is here again; hear it pitter,

pitter, patter, on the leaves and on the

trees, see it spitter, spitter, spatter.

Rain, oh rain, don't go away we need

you for flowers in May; drip drip, drop

and do not stop, send a rain our way."

~Nina B. Hartford~

"The first of April, some do say, is set

apart for All Fool's Day. But why the

people call it so, nor I, nor they themselves

do know. But on this day are people sent

on purpose for pure merriment."

~poor Robin's Almanac, 1790~

RAIN AND MORE RAIN

It has rained off and on all day.

Believe me I am not complaining.

I have been able to catch up on

some things I have put off doing

inside the house, and when I look

outside I see fresh green grass and

new leaves on the trees. It amazes

me how fast the trees bud out over

night. I have also started on some

crochet lap throws I will give to a

nursing home for people in wheelchairs.

Life is good. God is great and I thank

him for his many blessings.

MISS YOU

I just want to say I miss the bloggers

who have not been posting for whatever

reason. One I know for health reasons and

others I do not know why. I hope the

the ones with health problems will be

back soon and I wish the same for the

others.

FOR ALL YOU BLOGGERS THAT ARE STILL HAVING WINTER

For all you bloggers still having winter weather,
snow, rain, windy and just plain cold. Here
are just a few pictures of spring time to perk you
up. Just one of my azalea bushes.

Thrift planted around what used to be my
fish pond before the owls ate all my goldfish
for dinner.

More thrift planted down walk that goes to the
pool area.

Some ajuga I transplanted yesterday that had
come up out in the ditch next to the road that
runs in front of our house.

I am not sure what the name of these bushes
is, but they are in full bloom and just beautiful.

Another one of my azalea bushes in full bloom.

My white azalea bush is starting to bloom out.

Another pink azalea bush in full bloom. All my red azaleas

have buds but are not in full bloom yet.

What few wisteria bushes I have , have lots of

blooms on them.

The dogwood trees are blooming. Here is just one
of mine.

More thrift in flower garden in front of house.

FOR ALL THE IRISH OUT THERE

St. Patrick's day is almost here. My
previous post is for all of the Irish. I
am not Irish but I still love decorating
my house for St. Patrick's day and I do
wear green on St. Patrick's day.

WHAT A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY

I want to thank each and everyone of you
who made this a terrific birthday for me.
The picture above was taken on this day
with two of my handsome grandsons, Adam
on the left and Joseph on the right. I got
visits from my son Kenneth, daughter Debra,
and daughter Deann. They all came with
lots of goodies. I also received many lovely cards.
My daughter in Washington state called
as did my grandson in Texas, and my granddaughter
in New York. My granddaughter who lives here
in Alabama sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
My sweet husband took me out to breakfast and
lunch. God has blessed me in so many ways, I
thank him every night. Thank you family, relatives
and friends my prayer is that God will continue
to bless all of us.
