ROSES AND YELLOW WATER IRIS

My knockout roses are blooming .  I have pictured the roses from bud stage
to a full open rose.   My water iris are blooming.  They used to be in my
pond that I had with gold fish until the owls ate everyone of the gold fish so
now it is sort of a rock garden.

AZALEAS, WISTERIA AND WILDFLOWERS.

The first picture is of wild flowers blooming in my yard .  When my
husband was alive he called them weeds but anything that blooms
is pretty to me.   The second picture is of one of three of the wild wisteria
bushes on my property.  All the other pictures are of the many azaleas
I have which are blooming.   I have red, pink, white , peach, lavender and
some variegated ones.  Click on picutres to see a better view.

ENJOYING THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY

I have been enjoying this beautiful day.  First I ran some errands.  Came home
and had lunch,  then sat out on the swing in the front yard and read some.  Then
took the above pictures of some of the flowering bushes and the violets .  The
first picture is one of my wisteria bushes that is in bloom the second picture is
just one of my red bud trees that are in bloom ( I still can not understand the
name since the flower is more of a pink color.) The violets grow wild in the
ditch between my yard and the street that runs in front of my house.  The
weatherman is calling for strong storms tomorrow so I will enjoy the day and
prepare for what is coming our way tomorrow.

SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS

I was able to go to my grandson, Adam, pictured above, school play
Snow white and the seven dwarfs.  He played the part of Prince Charming.
A very good part for him since in my eyes he is a prince.  The play
and all the actors were great.  Adam will be a senior next year and then
on to college.  They grow up so fast.

WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF APRIL

"Sweet April showers do bring May flowers."
     ~Thomas Tusser~

"April rain is here again; hear it pitter pitter, patter on the
leaves and on trees.  See it spitter, spitter, spatter rain,
oh rain don't go away we need you for flow'rs in May
Drip, drip, drop and do not stop, send a little rain our way."
      ~Nina B. Hartford~

"The first of April, some do say, is set apart for
All Fools' Day.  But why the people call it so,  nor
I, nor they themselves do know.  But on this day
are people sent on purpose for pure merriment."
   ~Poor Robin's Almanac 1780~
