More than Easter bunnies and chocolate eggs galore,
in the cross of Calvary, the sacrifice of our Lord. For
Jesus is the reason, we all can celebrate and come to
Him freely receive His Love and saving grace.
"Christ the Lord is risen today! Angels rolled the stone away from
the tomb wherein He lay. Little children come and sing Glory, glory
to the King. Christ the Lord of everything!"
The tulips in the garden are wearing yellow hats; the pussy-willows by
the brook have fur like any cats. The bee is honey hunting; the robins
chirp is gay; and all the world is singing, "Oh Happy Easter Day!"
Have a wonderful and blessed Easter everyone.

I finished the other pair of pillowcases I was given for my birthday. Now I
have to find something else to do. I more then likely will start the jigsaw
puzzle I was given for my birthday. Hopefully after I finish the puzzle it
will be warm enough to get outside and work in the yard planting my
flowers and just keeping the yard looking spick and span.

These are just one pair of pillowcases I got for my birthday, autumn leaves.
They have been washed ironed and put away to be given to someone who
will enjoy them. I am now working on the other pair. If it stays cold like it
is today I will have them finished in no time.

Spring is life
Spring is hope
so is love and
life is forlorn
Spring is nostalgia
after bitter storm
put spring in your heart.
A salute to Spring...Spring time is the best time
Spring in my step
Spring in the air
Spring fever to follow,
but I don't care,
Spring, for new journeys,
I'll be there!
By the garden gate,
you silly thing.
It's an invitation to frolic
so let's begin to sing

This is the springtime wreath I made. After checking the prices of wreaths
at the stores I realized I could make one cheaper. I had the wisteria, birds
and butterflies. All I had to buy was the grapevine wreath and a bunch of
my Easter decorations.
Today and tomorrow it is supposed to be warm so I will work out in the yard.
Then I will start on my next project embroidering the pillowcases I got for

Wishing my granddaughter, Katie, a very happy birthday. I truly hope all your dreams come true. I fondly remember the day when you were a small girl and we used to celebrate our birthdays together. God has blessed me with 77 years on this planet earth and I hope he will allow me to stay awhile longer. It has been a good life so far. I had a wonderful husband for 57 years before the good Lord took him to be with him. I have 4 wonderful kids and their spouses, 11 grandchildren all with their own talents, and 3 great grandchildren. I have been blessed in many many ways.

"March is a month of considerable frustration - it is so near spring, and yet across a great deal of the country the weather is still so violent and changeable that outdoor activity in our yards seems light years away." ~Thalassa Cruso~ "The March wind roars like a lion in the sky, and makes us shiver as he passes by. When winds are soft, and the days are warm and clear, just like a gentle lamb, then spring is here." ~Author Unknown~ I hope everyone has a blessed first day of March and that spring will be here for all soon.
