DAUGHTERS AND SONS

A daughter is the happy memories of the
past, the joyful moments of the present,
and the hope and promise of the future.
~Author Unknown~

Your son at five is your master, at ten your
slave, at fifteen your double, and after that,
your friend or your foe, depending on his
bringing up.

I am very proud of my four children Debra,
Kenneth, Deann and Kara. They all are married
and have been blessed with wonderful families.
I pray every night that God will continue to
bless them and keep them safe. I want them
to know that I may have made mistakes while
bringing them up but in spite of that they all
have made me proud of them and what they
have accomplished.

SETTING SUN IN WINTER

I am not the best picture taker. This is one I
took with the sun going down. It was a lot
prettier than this picture shows. Since I have
gotten older I appreciate every sunrise and
sunset the good Lord allows me to see.

FORSYTHIA BUSH AND WILD PERIWINKLE

I know it is winter time, but my forsythia bush
believes it is spring time. The cold weather we
have had down into the 20's have not killed
these few blooms. The last few days it has warmed
up in the 60's during the day, so these few blooms
gave me a taste of spring.

Another sweet little spring time flower
is blooming also among the leaves,
my wild periwinkle has a few blooms on
them. Just a little touch of spring in
the winter time has brought a smile to
my face.
